BiteDiary: Calorie Counter

BiteDiary is a calm, private food diary: log what you ate in seconds, see your whole
day on one screen, and keep every entry on your own device.

LOCAL-FIRST. YOURS.
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud. Everything stays on your device.
- Delete the app and the data is gone. That is the whole privacy policy.
- Works with no connection at all.

FAST TO LOG.
- Scan a barcode or search instantly - the bundled offline food index answers straight away, and Open Food Facts fills the gaps when you are online.
- One screen for the whole day: calories, protein, carbs and fat at a glance.
- Water and weight tracking with a local progress chart.

EATS THE WAY YOU DO.
- Diet modes: Standard, Keto, Carnivore, Paleo, Gluten-Free and Diabetic.
- Keto counts NET carbs (total minus fiber) automatically.
- Gluten flags read from the label: contains gluten, may contain, or none listed.
- Estimated glucose load per food and per day, for carb awareness.
Diet modes and glucose estimates are guidance, not medical advice.

CONNECTS, IF YOU WANT IT TO.
- Push nutrition to Android Health Connect. Write-only - BiteDiary never reads your health history.

HONEST, NOT GAMIFIED.
- A daily calorie picture, not a streak you get punished for breaking.
- No ads, no upsell spam, and your own log is never behind a paywall.
- Nutrition values are estimates from labeled data and are shown as "est. per label".
