Taking advantage of a mobile or car-embedded Internet connection and a BlackVue dashcam, BlackVue Cloud connects you to your car through the Cloud. Using the BlackVue App on your smartphone or tablet, you see in real time where your car is located and what is happening around it.

You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).
BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

Read this 1st. 5 🌟 for the most unworkable app. As for the camera...don't bother wasting your money. I have wasted many hours trying to connect to my camera...and still no joy. As for the Website, even the help items are wrong. Oct25.these cameras appear die after 4 years...numerous accounts, my two included, constantly reboot stating." Blackvue for your safe driving, starting normal recording"...every 2 minutes. Tried all recommend fixes. Not a recommend brand.

App was great a few years ago when I first got this dashcam installed. The latest update is absolute trash. Camera takes multiple goes to connect to phone, drops out, footage won't play back or download. What used to be a seemless link to mobile to view and download is now janky and an incredibly frustrating experience

Edit to previous review: 10/07/26: forced to update app or quit, now demands an account to sign in or quit. Great cameras are being absolutely trashed by their cr@p software and forced sign in policy. After 6 blackout dashcams I will not buy again. 14/12/21: Was an OK app, latest update prevents access to images other than through the app due to Android App policy. Can no longer edit videos directly on phone, and can only view in app. An update that removes abilities is not really an update.
