Love Blast app. Specially the interactive drills. I would give it 5 stars if you had an interactive drill that measures bat speed. The interactive drills I see are bat angle and Time to Contact which have helped incredibly my son's swing. He drives the ball to the outfield way better. But I think the app would go to another level with the Bat speed interactive drill because it would give kids immediate feedback and motivate them to improve.

Blast sued Zepp. Zepp no longer makes baseball sensors in the US. I had a Zepp for 3 years. The Blast sensor works well and software gives better insight with regard to "staying connected". Also, Zepp didn't know the difference between solid contact and a mishit Blast does. Only issue with Blast is removing the base from the bat then the sensor from the case to charge it. Zepp was easier to charge.

He was able to work every day on his tee work as well as getting his 100 swings a day in at the same time, all while keeping his progress and stats as he developed into a high school/College Athlete. All from setting reasonable achievable goals and working a little more each day

Been using the Blast sensor for about two months and works well on Android. Still has a few functions unavailable on Android that work fine on crApple. Need another update or two. A few added videos with explanations of each category would be amazing.

Doesn't work with Android devices. Occasionally records swing data and data/videos won't upload to Blast Connect.

I took 200+ swings this weekend. I was able to see them in the app, then
they disappeared. The app says my sensor needs a firmware update - was
getting an error with instructions to reset the sensor - I have, and the
firmware update is still throwing g an error. And I seem to have lost all
previous swing data. Frustration abound.

Horrible UX - Not support swipe prev/next swing detail page, so need to go back swing list page and the scroll position is reset (go to top) - Progress page shows one of metric info with graph, I don't think it is worth to display it. Each metric info can be swiped and once open swing list with the one of the metric info, UI does not support swipe, so it is hard to check other metric from the page - Swing detail page consists of swing video (video capture function is very GOOD) and several metrics in portrait mode, but video can't be played as-is, it changes landscape mode and there is no back button. If you use software based back/home button device, it is too annoying. - some page has back buttoned at top left of the page, and sometimes it does not sync with device's back button (so sometimes app is closed) - I'm in trial for full metric so trying to upload video to cloud system. At cloud page has media library page but the videos are sorted by "Uploaded" date not "Captured", so they are messed. - Cloud site is also horrible UX, so I will not continue the subscription once the trial period finished. - App crashes when I try to edit bat name, and lack of bat list. - At swing video page, up to 4 metric is displayed but can't choose by myself The sensor device is disconnected easily with smartphone. It is OK because the sensor stores several swing info and can sync with smartphone later. But re-connection process is too bad.
