Was excited when seeing video tab o device selection menu BUT crestfallen upon learning that it doesn't mimic said video.

Awful app, not functional. There are 0 functional ways for anyone else to use the toy, and it constantly crashes. Please heed my warning. Sometimes the app will work for play just for you-yourself, but it is constantly crashing, and it is worth paying for a better toy with a better app like Lovense. Buyer absolutely beware. 150 orders and 5 star on amazon? No app reviews? The only thing I can think of is that every rating the actual toy has is fake and paid for by the maker. Ask for a refund.
