One of my most used apps typically and one I like a lot. However, for a couple of months now, the app does not load data when on Wi-Fi, only when on cell/mobile data. Tried everything but re-installing app to fix, with no luck.

Best app for weather tracking wherever you are you know how close the lightning is

25% of my battery is consumed by this app. These % was during night - Wi-Fi and Data was off. My GPS is always on. Settings are default - 60 min. Android 9. Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Thank you for your replay. I don't want to turn off GPS. I turned manual location instead of GPS in app settings. And in Android App permitions furned off GPS permission. Let's see what will happen.

A superb lightning tracker with a programmable alarm that can be set to a threshold at any distance from your geographical location. The historical data going back to 24 hours is fantastic as one can track the progression of storms. I can't praise this app enough. Well done devs, I know that this is a hobby product of yours, and you make no profit from it. -Thank you!

In the past, I used to be able to zoom in all the way on the map. Now, when I zoom in, it stops at about 80-85% and the lightning squares are zoomed in as well.

Original Blitzortung was better. The tile interface here is absolute garbage. I don't want an approximation of lightning strikes in a given area. Show me each strike like the original app! Do you know that the original app draws lines from the stations that detect the lightning strikes? Triangulating the position better than your squares? It's literally an api from thr blitzortung website and worked wonderfully until the dev stopped updating it. Showing a point is more aesthetic than your interface
