blob: screen time control

Make your next scroll a choice.

blob is a screen time control app that puts a short math pause before the distracting apps you choose. Solve a problem to earn a temporary pass, or walk away and get back to your day.

BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS
Choose the apps you want to use more intentionally. Add daily usage or opening limits, set protection schedules, and adjust your math challenge level.

BUILD TIME FOR FOCUS
Start a focus session, protect your selected apps, and track the minutes you complete. Strict mode locks selected settings until tomorrow, with a limited emergency allowance when plans change. Android system settings remain under your control.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Review screen time, app usage, math pauses, and walk-away streaks. A home screen widget and temporary-pass notification keep useful information nearby. Time-avoided figures are estimates.

A SMALL PAUSE WITH PERSONALITY
Meet Blob, your friendly math companion. Customize your routine and turn automatic app openings into a moment to think.

ANDROID PERMISSIONS
Usage Access powers your on-device screen-time statistics. AccessibilityService detects when a selected app opens and displays the math gate. Blob does not use AccessibilityService to read screen contents or collect typed text. You choose whether to enable these permissions and can revoke them in Android Settings. Notifications are optional.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Some features require a subscription. Available plans, prices, and any trial terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play.
