Incredibly effective tool for limiting or altogether blocking brain rot and doom scrolling. I've blocked all the apps that usually drain my focus or keep me distracted and applied strict mode so that the block can only be overridden by physically scanning the card. The physical barrier of actually having to go out of your way to scan the card really works.

Update: Issues resolved. Changed from 1 to 5 stars for now! Easy to circumvent on Android, potentially deceptive advertising. There is no need for buying the card when you can circumvent the app in three quick touches by dismissing your recent apps. At best, this is a better organized "Modes and Routines" that is already built into Android. With that said, the customer service understood my observations, recognized that Bloom had its limitations, and offered a full refund upon return of the card.

Knocking my review down a star because to manually START a focus session/block apps, you need to tap the card. I think that's kind of silly! Let me start it wherever/whenever, you've accidentally added a physical barrier to the GOOD habit of blocking distracting apps!

Since the last update, it seems that Bloom doesn't block the apps in my time zone (I live in Australia), consequently, the schedules are useless, and it blocks at random hours. Please fix it ASAP.

BROKEN AGAIN. I'm sick of my blocked apps not saving and my schedules getting reset. It seems like every update breaks the app. I'm tired of clearing the cache and storage and reinstalling the app but this time it's not fixing the problem. I can't recommend Bloom.

Literally does not block apps. I have strict mode on, and all the optional settings enabled, yet it does not block WhatsApp for me. It does however block settings, so what I'm doing is, I disable WhatsApp from the settings and then enable bloom, so I can't enable the app again. A bit of a bummer...
