Description
The blue light from the LED screen on your phone or tablet is often said to tire your eyes and affect how easily you fall asleep. Blue Light Filter lays a warm, semi-transparent filter over the whole screen, softening glare so the display is easier to look at. In bed at night or in a dark room, reading and watching stay comfortable.
Strength goes from 0% to 100%, and you can pick one of eight preset colors or build your own. Set the timer and the per-app rules once, and the filter turns itself on and off exactly when you need it. Taps and swipes pass straight through to the app underneath, and it comes back in the same state after a restart.
【MAIN FEATURES】
►Strength from 0% to 100% Drag the slider for fine control, or tap + and − to move in steps of 5%. The current level is shown as a large number, so you always know how much filtering is applied.
►Eight presets plus a custom color Pick from eight colors, from warm tones through yellow, green and grey. The custom color adds hue, saturation and brightness sliders with a live HEX value, a preview before you apply, and a reset.
►Timer for automatic on and off Set a start and an end time and the filter switches every day on its own, including ranges that cross midnight such as 18:00 to 6:00. It shows when the next change is due.
►Per-app switching For each app choose Filter on, Filter off, or Do not change. Apps where color matters, such as photos, video and the camera, turn it off automatically and it returns when you leave. Search by name or list only the apps you configured.
►One tap from the notification bar A control panel in the notification bar changes the filter and its strength without opening the app. Show it always, only while the filter is on, or never. It never makes a sound or vibrates.
►Widget and Quick Settings tile The 1x1 home screen widget toggles the filter with one tap and its color shows whether the filter is active. The Quick Settings tile does the same from any screen.
►Light, dark and automatic themes Choose a light or dark look, or let the app follow your device. The notification panel follows the theme too.
►14 languages Available in 14 languages, including English, Japanese, German, Spanish, French and Korean.

Q. How is this different from lowering the screen brightness? A. It goes darker than the lowest brightness your device allows, and it shifts the screen to a warm tone with less blue, which brightness alone cannot do.

Decent app, but didn't indicate that it needed to be upgraded to a pro version. Just indicating 'in-app purchases' isn't enough. There wasn't any warning, it just stopped working. I have purchased another pro filter because of it.

It works good, but I encountered one problem. Even if the app is off it prevents from adding new cards to Android Pay. Had to remove it for the time of adding cards.

Remember this app is not free as it seems to be because after random time it will show you, "expiration date of trial has passed." Used only 2 times and after a week I decided to use it again but sees this message. Thanks. Vi would have purchased if you asked or made it optional but since it was forced and I can't use the app anymore, I'm looking for alternative. 💩💩💩💩💩 - 5 for you.
