Description
Simple app that redirects any audio being played in the android device to the paired Bluetooth headset. Includes Play/Pause/Next/Back buttons to allow to interact with media from within the application. Use in daily commute to listen mp3 or podcasts in car stereo even with car stereo that cannot stream audio. Constantly updating and improving the application. If you want a feature for the app, please go to the github and open an Issue for that feature or bug. No Adds in the app and will stay that way. There are a lot of apps that do this exact same thing, but I wanted one Free and without any adds. I coded one for myself and here it is.
Use this with car stereos that do not support audio streaming.
Added a Widget for easy access.
This app is Open Source, code is Public Domain: https://github.com/soynerdito/BlueSound
If app shows errors please comment on github page with detail on the issue. As well as any feature request.

Works as advertised. Crappy mono sound is what the developer says you will get. This is for people that are trying to connect to a device that is not made to play music. When in my car it connects like it connects when a phone call is going on. My stock Nissan Versa radio is supposed to have Bluetooth audio for music, but it does not (Nissan error in their specs... I verified). My radio Bluetooth is only for mono phone calls, so what this app does is connect as if connected for a call (no dial).

Used to enjoy using this with my Bluetooth since it doesn't have audio playback. But for some reason it doesn't work anymore. It works for a few seconds and then it cuts out. Is this app no longer supported?
★★☆☆☆
Disappointing app, allows for a simple widget to be added to switch between mono and stereo. Downsides are an annoying beep when changing modes and a loss of audio for a brief period when changing. The main app interface offers no help or instructions and contains controls that appear superfluous and non-functional. Selecting mono also turns off absolute Bluetooth volume. The final nail in the coffin however is it will randomly turn itself off switching you back to stereo.
★★☆☆☆
It works on Android 12 only for a second or two. Please advise a fix for it.
