Update Jan7: The app and website are functional again. I wish they had a message that it was temporarily down. Broken app. Jan 4: The app was working fine early last week, but now it is completely broken. Curiously, their web page is also broken.

Blue Shield of CA would have 5 stars if I had not received an EAR FULL of KrAp when I called the number for appointment rides...

Amazing. Can do anything and everything insurance related. I can switch doctors, pull up EOBs, access Tlaloc when I would have not had time otherwise to visit my doctor... this app has come a long way

All I have to do is go to my app my Blue shield insurance card. If I need my medication what time is my appointment? My pharmacy location everything I've already successful with this app.
★★☆☆☆
App never works. Always says it needs to be updated. After updating, it says it's down for maintenance. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

You know what the last thing I need to do when I'm opening the app and logging in with biometrics to show a provider my insurance card? Change my password. It isn't recommended to regularly force users to change their passwords. You know what else? Go through 2-factor authentication all over again for a previously registered device. If I'm logging in WITH MY FINGERPRINT then clearly this is from a previously registered device, so I shouldn't have to ask for an OTP to arrive by text or email
