Bluebikes

★★★★★ Every city in the country should replicate the Blue Bikes program. The abundance of stations, bikes, and app tracking (plus Angel points program) is unprecedented. It's great to be back visiting Boston and seeing tons of positive change. We felt totally comfortable navigating every corner of the city. Cheers!

★★★★★ The app is solid and useful but not so much the bike/dock. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes or more trying to jam the bike into the dock.

★★★★★ Great service. From time to time I have had issues with bike docks malfunctioning, but the bikes themselves are great, and it must be hard to keep such a network of docks and bikes at peak performance!

★★☆☆☆ Rating is for entire Blue bikes service. Between the ap going down, docks off-line and awful customer service, they're just not worth it.

★★☆☆☆ I rent a silver electric bike on a trip to Boston and did not read the fine print. I bought a day pass on the app and proceeded to have a lovely ride along the Charles River and out to arboretum and then back along the Emerald Necklace. I did a total of about 34 miles but spread it out over 5 hours of sightseeing. Unfortunately when turning in the bike I found I did not have a ten dollar day pass but an $80 bill, for their definition of a day is TWO hours. Customer service was NO help-BEWARE!

★★☆☆☆ Bikes are generally good although many times they have problems which makes difficult to use. (Although it is possible to ask for repair once docked) Assistance answers after 1 day generally and not during the weekend often not considering all the question you ask them Number of docking seems to be random, near to crucial services (supermarkets, universities ...) There are only 10–20 docking which makes difficult to always secure your bike. It could be a useful service but needs upgrades!
