Description
Check to see if your device - or those around you - is vulnerable to BlueBorne.
Armis discovered BlueBorne, a new attack vector, endangering major mobile, desktop, and IoT operating systems, including Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux, and the devices using them.
It includes 8 zero-day vulnerabilities, 4 of them critical. With BlueBorne, a hacker can take over your device or set up a man-in-the-middle attack. It leverages the most serious exploit in Bluetooth to date, and spreads through the air (airborne). You don’t need to pair with the attacking device. You Bluetooth just needs to be on.
Key points about BlueBorne: - Penetrates secure "air-gapped" networks - Spreads laterally to adjacent devices - Impacts devices from Samsung, Google, Windows, Apple and more - Microsoft, Android, Linux, and iOS are issuing updates
This app was specifically designed to scan your device and see if it is vulnerable. It can also scan and locate devices that could be vulnerable to the BlueBorne attack vector. Simply use the screen of your mobile device as a viewfinder to scan your device or locate connected devices in your environment. The viewfinder will alert you if this device could be a carrier to a BlueBorne attack.
More than 5 billion devices could be vulnerable to “BlueBorne” attacks, but patches exist for Apple, Android and Windows devices. Be sure that your patches are up to date. Armis’ mission is to eliminate the IoT security blind spot, letting enterprises use IoT and unmanaged devices safely and securely.
Recent changes: Enhanced BlueBorne scan on the local device.

Very well put together, highlights real dangers with the currant networks and protocol's ....... Just could you not have left a spanner on the side I could see some nice scripts running in and out of that docker.. 🔧

Doesn't provide much information in non-Pro version, but does say whether
nearby devices are a low/high "risk" or not (what does this mean? I guess
buy the full version to find out). If a device has an exploit, doesn't it
either have it, or not? Just don't understand the risk levels.

Great tool to check device security for Blueborn.

With this app, I found that my Samsung TV was still vulnerable.
★★☆☆☆
For safty & security, some examples, details, facts, and or descriptions are a must. Yet Armis does not offer any assistance needed to secure, guide, or even assure accuracy, validity, or reference for its results. I updated my Samsung galaxy Note with the patch Samsung specifically states fixed the Bluetooth vulnerability, yet this app says it is highrisk! Developers: •Do not respond to reviews. •Do not offer details or descriptions. •Do not provide reference. ^Do offer option to buy information. ^Do offer option to buy assistance. IF YOU WENT TO A STORE WOULD YOU PAY THAT STORE IF THEY WERE NOT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO YOU? Last update for this app, September 2017. Last update from Samsung, November 2017. How is it this app can know if phone is fixed if the apps data is outdated? (Even with Samsung Package Disabler Pro, ALL Bluetooth disabled and force closed, this app says is vulnerable!) Armis should change the App name to, "Idoit Test"

One one of my samsungs it said I had one at a high risk. When i ran the app
on that phone it says it was safe. Well which one is it? Safe or not?
Scam??? Maybe

This app just checks for security patch level string. If it is September then it considers the device is safe and if it is below September, then it says device is vulnerable. Don't rely on this app's results.
