Comments on BlueTipz for Android

★★★★☆ Dustin Delaney · Dec 28, 2017

Just bought 2 pair for my dad and I, quit working when a signal is sent to the phone, the app keeps closing down. These are junk of this app does not work. Please fix!!! We planned on fishing tonight! Update: I emailed the company at 7 pm and Brad the owner emailed me back 5 minutes later with a YouTube video to help with settings. It seems the app does not work with personalized tones so not a total loss. Definitely the ice fishing product of the year if it works well. Look forward to using it soon. Great customer service with deep freeze company!

TURN ON YOUR BLUE TOOTH. It should tell you to turn on the blue tooth instead of saying does not support this device. Everyone one seems to make that mistake (including me). Great product other than that. User error.

Blue tooth on Even with blue tooth on, still get the BLE warning. HTC 1. Just downloaded app today. Any advice?

Doesn't work on Nexus 6P Disappointing to see this not working on my Nexus 6P as I've had my Blue Tipz since they launched.

★★☆☆☆ Josh Loining · Jan 14, 2021

After the last few updates on the app I'm unable to use the custom tones for my bluetipz...they just show "turned off" and there's no way to turn back on... I've pressed on the tone... I've long pressed and three seems to be no fix. I have the first Generation bluetipz. Hoping for an answer on how to fix the issue.

The new and improved version of BlueTipz has arrived! BlueTipz by Deep Freeze is the first tip-up alert system sent straight to your smartphone (iPads, iPods, the BlueTipz Receiver, and other mobile devices can also work). When your tip-up is struck, if equipped with a BlueTipz Transmitter, your phone will be alerted. The user has the option to open scan for all BlueTipz Transmitters, or they can just scan for their own. You can also name your transmitters which allows you to know which tip-up has been struck. A Fish Log enables you to store information about your catch, take a picture, and even post to Facebook! To verify your mobile device is compatible, download the most current version BlueTipz mobile app.

See DeepFreezeFishing.com for more detailed information.
