The settings are a little bit cryptic, but that has something to do with android system itself. For me this application is actually a game changer allowing me to use Ldac codec properly (without wasting bitrate for useless up sampling android applies by default)

This app makes it easy to set up a widget for your home screen that allows you to switch Bluetooth codecs without having to dig through developer options. It's that super deluxe nerd satisfaction that comes from tapping one button on your home screen and knowing that this single tap has just caused a minimum of three separate changes to the device's Bluetooth configuration. I know, I know-contain your boner. I've had the app for days, and I'm still excited just mentioning this.

I have a Bluetooth dongle that, for whatever reason, powers itself off when the phone negotiates aptx adaptive. You can set codecs in the developer menu, but it's a race condition every time I pair, I need to set aptx-hd at precisely the right time. The paid version of this app let me work around this by auto-setting aptx-hd every time it pairs.

I gave it a try and bought the pro version. I played with it for an hour. My phone is a "xiaomi Redmi Note 10 pro" and my speaker is a "jbl party box 1k". The speaker supports SBC and AAC and so does the phone. Whatever option and combination of them that I tried, the outcome was negative, the app wasn't changing anything. Reporting yes, changing no. Uninstalled and requested a refund, which I got.

I tried everything for this to work to convert my Phone Only Bluetooth on my Vehicle to also enable me to play Audio from my phone, which is what this advertised to do. However, upon going through my multiple videos and instructions, nothing solved the problem, also in order to get this functionality, I had to pay to become Premium User. I paid the discounted fee, hoping it should work as advertised, but definitely false advertising and no it did not work, and I also paid for something, refund now

Almost everything is locked behind a pay wall. I'm only trying to see which codecs I can switch to as I can only see a couple of options in Developer Options. I'd gladly pay if I could actually just see this info because it looks like this app could be invaluable with all the functionality that it has. I understand people need money but Jesus... Why have a free app at all if everything in it is locked if you don't pay? It should just be $7.99 up front.

I just switched back to Android solely for LDAC support, unfortunately Pixel is defaulting to the best effort, which translates to mostly ~330kbps. So instead of going to developer settings every time I connect my LDAC headphones just to change the best effort to 660kbps I could use this app. But I'm refusing to pay for such an odd looking, sticking out, not following official design guidelines app. I would get the full version ASAP if only this was Material You.
