Actually works pretty well, interfered nav for the M1KR is pretty easy to figure out and use. Can't complain. Coming from no nav to on board nav on a bike is great. Good job bmw for now !

Amazing, makes life so much easier and cheaper than GPS units. 13k later; app has improved a lot. Keeps valuable data and ride statistics. Traffic routing has improved a lot. Wish there was a way to get address input while riding. After 40k on the GSA and now 12k on K1600GT, sometimes it does have hard time connecting to GT over Wi-Fi. Have to turn off ignition, wait a minute and then it will connect. It is not 100% reliable as GSA, I would give 85% on GT. Hope BMW fixes i

It's. A little tricky but I love it if you're is you're trying to hook this to your b. M. W 1800. ? If your helmet had ever been connected to anything else Especially if you listened to music through your helmet by way of your phone Bluetooth, go into your Bluetooth settings. Phone has to be disconnected from your helmet Headset you have to make it. Forget it, Then the motor rad app hooks to your phone which hooks to your helmet. It can only be Hooked to the motor rad app.

BMW gets a star for effort, but minus the rest for execution, shortsightedness and greed. The controls from the bike should work without the horrible cradle and everywhere on the phone. Small hobbyist outfits can make handlebar controllers, what is bmw thinking limiting it to some idiotic combination of a cradle and ONLY enabling the controller functions in their mediocre app? Make this work like the Carpe iter controller. Just connect to my phone, support motions, enter, back and zoom.

This app is kind of a letdown. I tried to use the navigation, made sure I selected the "avoid dirt roads" option, and it brought me directly to the closest dirt road when using the "winding" route. Honestly, I don't understand why BMW won't just allow you to use Android Auto if you prefer. Also, the tracking feature is spotty at best, tracking entire routes just fine sometimes, yet other times it shows me flying in a perfect straight line from origin to destination or vice versa. BMW, please fix.

Super buggy... What has happened to BMW's quality assurance? Releasing a new version (Nov. 27, 2023); the NAVIGATION is delayed more so now, I have to constantly reconnect via Retry Option. As an R18 B owner; BMW Motor rad Connect technical staff really needs to make the necessary improvements and perform regression testing before releasing software that negatively impacts their customer's motorcycle riding and ownership experience.
