Description by Joseph Diederichs (from Google Play)

Anyone who uses a tape measure or a ruler might find Board Calc useful. Dimensions today come as a mixed bag of metric, inches, feet, fractions, percentages and decimal. This app makes converting between or doing math with any combination of them comfortable. If you would like to add 7mm to 1.625 inchs and find the answer on a ruler marked in 16ths of an inch, Board Calc is your friend. Think of it as a pocket calculator that also likes fractions and measurements.

Board Calc is particularly useful for carpenters and woodworkers. Calculate the board feet of lumber from two or three measurements (any units). Add to a running total in calculator memory. Work easily with length, area, or volume.

Happy now Used to use this on my Palm all the time and missed it when I moved to android. Excellent.

Useful carpenter's calculator for Android Very useful, and intuitive. Slide the result to see rounding; press / to convert fraction to decimal. Best on tablet view if your device supports it. Great on Dell Streak 5". Essential to read the manual first, easy to understand. Update: now with option for decimal preference in the settings, great for metric users too so updating my rating from 4.5 to 5 stars! Thanks for listening Joe! Excellent support.
