Bodhify: Awaken Your Mind

Bodhify is a quiet place to read the Buddha's teachings in Bengali.

The complete Tipitaka — the Vinaya, Sutta and Abhidhamma Pitakas — is built into the app itself. Once installed, every book opens offline, with no account and no internet connection.

READ THE TIPITAKA
• The full Bengali canon: Vinaya, Digha, Majjhima, Samyutta, Anguttara, Khuddaka and Abhidhamma
• Search more than 880,000 paragraphs in Bengali script, entirely on your device
• Bookmarks and notes that stay with the passage
• Auto-scroll at your own pace, and a dark theme for night reading
• The app remembers where you stopped in every book

DHAMMA ARTICLES
• Writing on practice, sutta study and daily life from contributing authors
• Browse by category, save to bookmarks, comment and discuss
• Adjust the text size, or let the page scroll itself
• On-device translation into other languages — download a language pack once, then it works offline

BUDDHIST CALENDAR
• Uposatha days through the year, for lay followers and for bhikkhus
• Full-moon and new-moon tithi, with Buddhist Era and Bengali Era dates
• An optional reminder the evening before each Uposatha

YOUR READING
• A dashboard of reading time, books opened, bookmarks and notes
• Reader and author leaderboards
• Bookmarks and reading progress kept with your account

COMMUNITY
• Message other readers, or join channels on a shared topic
• Follow authors and hear when they publish something new
• Apply to become an author and publish your own writing

IN BENGALI AND ENGLISH
The app's own text is available in both Bengali and English. Articles and canonical texts stay in the language they were written in.

Bodhify is free. There are no advertisements and no in-app purchases.

An account is optional. Reading the Tipitaka and browsing articles needs no sign-in — an account is only for commenting, syncing bookmarks, messaging and publishing.

Corrections and suggestions are welcome through Feedback inside the app.

May all beings be happy.
