Boisagor: Bangla Book Reader

Boisagor (বইসাগর) is a Bangla book reader for your EPUB and PDF collection, with tools to organize the printed books on your shelves too. Read Bengali ebooks, turn scanned PDFs into EPUBs, and keep track of what you read.

READ YOUR OWN EPUB AND PDF BOOKS
Import books from your phone and read them offline. Open your local library without creating an account, and return to where you left off.

MAKE BENGALI READING YOUR OWN
Choose Bengali fonts and adjust EPUB text size, line spacing and margins. Switch between day, sepia, night and AMOLED themes. Use chapter navigation, bookmarks, highlights and in-book search to find your way around.

CONVERT SCANNED PDFs TO EPUB
Use on-device Bengali OCR to recognize text in scanned PDFs and create an EPUB for adjustable reading. Pause and resume conversion when needed. Recognition quality depends on the original scan; uncertain words can remain as images to preserve the source text.

ORGANIZE EBOOKS AND PRINTED BOOKS
Create custom bookshelves for your digital collection. Add physical books by entering their details or scanning an ISBN barcode, then look up book information online. Record where printed books belong by room, bookcase and shelf, and keep notes about your collection.

BUILD YOUR READING HABIT
Track reading time, pages and finished books across ebooks and printed books. Set daily reading-time and yearly book goals, view reading statistics and choose reading reminders.

CONTINUE ACROSS DEVICES
Sign in with Google or an email code to sync reading progress, bookmarks and shelves between your signed-in devices. Choose which of your own EPUB files to upload to your private account for access on another device. Imported books stay on your phone unless you choose to upload them.

EXPLORE THE BOOK STORE
Browse the in-app catalog by category, search for books and download titles to your library. Some books may require purchase.

SET THE MOOD
Choose optional ambient reading sounds, including rain, crickets and piano.

Local reading works offline. Store access, sign-in, sync, ISBN lookup and private cloud transfers require an internet connection. Sign-in is required for store downloads and account features. Private book uploads and downloads may require watching a rewarded ad.
