Description
Bolo 2000 is a fast, modern take on the classic top-down tank battle. Twin-stick controls: drive with the left stick, aim and fire with the right — hold to lay down fire while you move. Blast through overgrown maze sectors, take out the enemy bases before they overrun you, and chain explosions for big combo scores.
WHAT MAKES IT TICK • Twin-stick arcade combat — drive and shoot in any direction at once. • Four one-tap specials — teleport to the furthest surviving base, eight seconds of invincibility, railgun rounds that fly through walls and armour, and a nova blast that clears the field around you. Charges drop from bases, and clearing a sector always pays one. • Shockwave chains — bank shots off walls and detonate powder kegs to clear the field in one glorious chain reaction. • A maze that fights back — sentry drones orbit every base and scatter to hunt you the moment it falls. Crawler trains wander the corridors at random; they never shoot, they don't have to. Gates slide open and shut on their own timers. • Clear the sector, then run — with the last base down an exit opens on the outer wall and the radar switches to point at it. Everything still alive comes with you. • Night patrols — every sixth sector goes dark, lit only by your tank's headlight beam. Enemy shots glow through the black so you can dodge them. • Boss fortresses — a fortified base that shoots back turns up every fifth sector. Early ones play fair; they sharpen up the deeper you push. • Armor + lives — three hits per tank, three tanks per run. Clear a sector to restore your armor and keep pushing. • Endless sectors — the mazes grow twistier and the enemies smarter the further you go. • Daily Challenge — the same maze and fixed difficulty for everyone, every day. MAKE IT YOURS • Colour-blind palette — enemies turn orange so they stand out from the red kegs. • Left-handed control layout. • Retro CRT scanline mode (toggle it off any time). • Adjustable difficulty and maze complexity. • Original rotating soundtrack — a different track each sector.
FREE TO START Play free for a bit each session. After that the patrol keeps running, but the enemies push to full speed — a one-time unlock removes the limit and keeps the normal difficulty curve. Optional extras (a sector teleport and endless lives) and a tip jar live in Settings for anyone who wants them. No ads, ever.
