Book Collection + Catalog

★★★★★ Love the app Easy to use, but would be nice to be have some type of divider indication when sorted by category. App is well worth the upgrade price for full version.

★★★★★ Good but can be better When I scan an existing book, it should alert me that I own a copy. Author name population, tagging books into categories(multiple). After bulk scan, open the books for editing in the same order, at least I want to correct it or add to categories.

★★☆☆☆ I would like to see the following items added to the app: COLLECTION comment box (to show if the book/story is part of a collection). SERIES comment box. PUBLISHED date box. EDITION date box. FIRST EDITION check box. PUBLISHER comment box. STARTED READING date box ENDED READING date box PAGES comment box A lot of apps are missing these options, with them I could easily rate this app 5 star. I like the app, these options would be helpful to me when I am out shopping for books as a reference. Thank you.

★★☆☆☆ Book collection pro Discovered serious bug. Will not import data properly from csv files. To test this I had Book Collection create .csv file and then tried importing the same file, unchanged, back into the program. The ISBN and description fields imported, everything else was lost. Also, when exporting it said the file would go to a certain locatiion. It went to an entirely different location and I had to search the drive to find it. Also, It did not go to the SD card, went to the memory of the phone itself. I decided to test the feature to backup the database to the server provided the software creator. It worked OK when I backed it up, deleted the files off my phone, and then restored. Next, I decided to simulate restoring to a new device, so I deleted the software off my phone and reinstalled it, then restored from the server. Most of the data restored properly, however, user created catagories did not restore. For this reason I will no longer use the catagory option in the program; instead, I will append the category to the end of the title. Doing this the database restored OK. Without .csv import capability it will not be possible to restore data if the server goes away.

★★☆☆☆ It sais, that I need to purchase the paid version of the app to be able to export to csv file. But, I did buy the paid version. Well, I'm not even sure they still exist...
