Book of Shadows is a complete digital grimoire: a magical reference database, spell workshop, tarot study, rune casting table, kitchen witch's cookbook, moon calendar, dream diary and sigil designer. Nothing is locked down - every entry, field and deck can be changed to fit the way you practice.

YOUR GRIMOIRE
- Over 1,200 entries of magical and mundane correspondences: 244 herbs, angels and their hours, demons, gemstones, woods, oils, pentacles, symbols and metals.
- Catalogue your tools and ingredients with photos and where they live. Stop hunting for that jar you bought three years ago.

SPELLCRAFT
- Write spells with ingredient suggestions from your own inventory.
- Track a working while it does its work, and keep a diary of dreams, events and results.

CARTOMANCY
- Learn the cards, draw 12 spreads, and read from the full 78 card Rider-Waite deck.
- Create and customize multiple decks, because we all know we have more than one :)
- Replace the card art with your own, choose a back, and deal face down with reversals if you read them.

SORTILEGE
- Keep as many rune sets as you like - Elder or Younger Futhark, Ogham - cut in wood or stone.
- Draw from the bag, or cast them and read what falls nearest. Turn reversals on or off, and pare a set down to the runes you use.
- Tap any rune to read its entry; nearly ninety ship with the app.

KITCHEN WITCHCRAFT
- Write a recipe, paste a link and let the Book read the page, or photograph one from a paper cookbook.
- Ingredients link to the Magical Database, so a recipe says what its herbs are for as well as how much to use.
- Cook for as many as you like and everything scales, the shopping list included.
- Cook step by step from the screen: wave a hand over the phone to move on, and it stays awake.
- Plan meals ahead, shop from a list that joins duplicates, and mark recipes for the allergies you cook around. A dish made with intent can be kept in My Spells as a working.
- Download over a thousand more: the wheel of the year with the lore behind each dish, Mrs Beeton's household management of 1861, and ninety in prose, from before ingredient lists.

MOON AND CALENDAR
- A month calendar marking Full, New, Blood and Blue Moons, eclipses, your events and what is due, with countdowns to the next full moon and eclipse.
- Sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset for where you are, and today's astrology.
- The eight sabbats, worked out astronomically for your hemisphere.
- A task list that works with your Google Calendar. Star what matters and it floats to the top.
- Widgets for the moon calendar, your cookbook, shopping list and meal planner.

SIGILS
- Design new sigils in the Sigil Weaver, or photograph hand-drawn ones and refine them.
- Set and replay the draw path for every one, so you never lose a sigil or how to draw it. Print one, or share it.

OUT AND ABOUT
- Find the Quarters. The dial names the elements rather than the directions, corrects to true north, and marks sun and moon.
- Photograph a find on the trail and it is filed with the date, moon phase and where you were - and Google Lens can name it for you.

MAKE IT YOURS
- Put your own name on your book, arrange the home screen, and choose light, dark or sepia.
- Lock your book behind your fingerprint, so your diary stays yours.
- Export and import your whole book.
- Ask Google Assistant to open a section, search your book, or add to your shopping list.
- Keep your coven in Magical Contacts, and a vault for the photographs of your practice.
