BookFusion - EPUB & PDF Reader

★★★★★ Just started using this app, but I seem like everything I've been looking for in a eBook app! Syncing ebooks from my caliber library is so simple 👌

★★★★★ Really good reader, even better than Google Play Books. It allows you to upload your own epub, mobi and even PDF books and then syncs the reading position of each book across devices. Offers different reading themes, such as a dark theme and a ton of other options. The developer is responsive and fixes issues. Another great thing is that the app works on older versions of Android, including my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Highly recommended!

★★★★★ I'm thrilled with the idea of Book Fusion: syncing my place in a book across multiple devices. And I could upload my personal library of PDFs and ebooks. Great! Why only 4 stars: it is slow. Turning pages conjures a loading window which sometimes freezes my tablet. Additionally, the last few lines of a chapter are almost always clipped which requires changing line spacing in order to read them. Combined with slow loading, this makes the app annoying to use. When the app improves, I'll be back.

★★★★★ This is a great app. It's not been easy to find an ebook reader/annotator that syncs across multiple platforms. I love the fact that I can read a book on my iPad and continue reading it on my Z Fold 3, with my notes and highlights intact. Love it!

★★☆☆☆ I would like to rate this better, but I'm not even able to use the app. I connected to a Twitter account from my MacBook but the Android app is unable to login from Twitter. Then I tried the email method, but I'm unable to provide a password without providing the current one, which I obviously don't have since I created my account using the Twitter method. Moreover, the connection to Twitter allows BF to see my tweets, accounts that I follow... Should I report this to Google as potential spyware?

★★☆☆☆ Forces users to create an account with Book Fusion to read books already on the device.

★★☆☆☆ Facebook login stopped working. Used to be a great app for my books. Useless if I can't log in and access them.

★★☆☆☆ Looks very dated on Android compared to the web. There is no way to sort my books by series on mobile. Lots of weird UI inconsistencies. Hopefully the new, currently closed beta, version will address all of that. Why this is a closed beta is weird, joining discord just to sign up seems very cumbersome. Response to developer: While enrolled into the Play Store Beta Program users can't leave reviews. Shouldn't that solve that issue? I'm looking forward to the new app. Is there a rough timeframe?

★★☆☆☆ Installed. Signed up. No Caliber option! Uninstalled. As the discretion doesn't say anything about a plugin, being a lazy end user I didn't look to the bottom of the page and notice it said the Caliber part of the app was a plug in. When I get time, I will try this app again. Just add the word plugin in brackets after Caliber in your description.
