Boring Helicopter Game

Sergeant! You volunteered. Bravely.

You were asleep when they asked for a pilot. Now you're running jobs for a mad general: knock out targets, put out fires, escort a cargo ship, rescue a cow.

There's one small blue helicopter, a chain of tiny islands, and some cow-thieving bandits. Low-poly, flat-shaded helicopter action in the spirit of the 90s classics.

FLY WITH ONE THUMB Push the stick the way you want to go. The helicopter does the rest, and it never flies into the ground by itself.

SHOOT Point your nose and the sight finds the target. Mind what is behind it: some of it is ours.

SLOW THE WORLD Tap SLOW and everything slows down except you. Thread through the shells, take the shot, and be gone before the charge runs dry.

WINCH Jeeps, containers, cows and people, on a cable that swings like a real one.

LAND Set down in the square, pick up the team, and get them home. Home for tea, the Sergeant hopes.

FREE MISSIONS Flying school, where nothing shoots back (much). Guns over the village, then more guns over the village. Bandits at the farm. A camera where the gun was. The enemy's first helicopters. And back to the mountain, with the gun this time.

"And if they send more, sir?" "Then we shall have a man who does that twice."

SUPPLY CRATE Nº 1 Nine more missions and five bonus games in one in-app purchase: bought once, contents on the tag. • The search: one of ours is down, and the enemy is looking too. • Taking the airwaves: a radio tower, its guns and its broadcasters. • Mines in the harbour: the enemy's own, thrown back. • Fire in the woods: a bucket, a lake and a farm on fire. • The Sirius: see a ship through with a cargo nobody will name. • The long shot: bandits are flying off with the town, even the mayor's piano. A rifle on the snowy peak, and the church bell first. • Hold the line: somebody is listening to the General's telephone, and something long and made of metal is lying on his cable. • The golden gun: one round in it. • And the finale, at sunset.

Plus the bonus games: • Pirates in the bay: riddles, a parrot and the captain's runaway daughter. • The Black Isle: forged fivers on the ferry. Follow the money without being seen. • The doctor's rounds: first aid kits hidden all over the island, for the doctor in the harbour town. • Balloon pop: the town lets its party balloons go, wave after wave, and you have the finest rifle on the island. Do not hit the mayor. • Ring race: twenty-two rings in a figure of eight, against the clock. The prize is your name on the board in the mess, in chalk.

"A hose, sir? On a gunship?" "It is a gunship when I say it is a gunship, Sergeant. Today it is a watering can."
