Bost connects you with people nearby with social distancing, it allows you to socialize with local community via posting, messaging and exploring other users in your area!
The greatest feature about Bost is that it provides you with relevant posts from users near the current location, which can be specified as precisely as in a same town, on a same street, and even at a same building. Under one of these categories (commercial promotion, social connection, information inquiry, and news & alerts), you can create a post with picture and choose its coverage area ranging from near you to whole world! You can like, dislike, bookmark and comment on posts from other users, or send a direct message to the author. You will be notified if your post received a response, plus you can set the area where you would like to read posts from as well as language preference.
It is our mission to connect you with local community. As an individual, you can use Bost to: find social events in your area, reach out to your neighbors to help find lost pet, get notified about what happened in surrounding area, ask information or have discussion with people that are around you, hold a garage sale at neighborhood, seek a roommate from nearby, invite neighbors to your party, and even converse with someone sitting in the same night club! Magically works for us to connect with other students in the same building as dorm or library. BostApp is really helpful since most people here still wears mask and does not want to talk face to face. On top of that, it comes in handy to organize events or ask for information in campus.

Total garbage, if you want to post a message to find people you have to pay money. You think with a following of less than 10k users anyone will pay for no one to see it. At least Bumble is free for basic stuff. Don't even install it

Saw advertised suspiciously on Twitter and installed for lols, it's basically a rudimentary twitter clone, but you pay two thousand dollars if you want to make a post nobody will see. App very buggy and probably ripe for exploits. Glowing, positive reviews all written by the creator. No idea where they are located. Student project?
