Boxville is an adventure puzzle game about speechless cans living in the city of boxes and drawing doodles on cardboards to tell the stories. Boxville is good for playing alone to dive into the atmosphere and challenge your brain with sophisticated logic puzzles and riddles, or playing with a friend or family to share unique audio-visual experiences and solve the puzzles together.
Design The core idea of the game is that it’s not just a game - but also an animated film that you can watch and play at the same time. We designed Boxville’s gameplay with the purpose of taking away your anxiety and stress. You can explore and observe the world without rushing and pressure. The game is full of environmental quests and logical puzzles that we have carefully picked from among hundreds of options.
Story Boxville is a city of boxes populated with old cans. They live quiet and happy lives with their everyday routines and habits. But one day, unexplained earthquakes disturbed their idyll... Blue Can (our hero) lost his best friend because of that. He started his search but it is not so easy to move through the city after earthquakes. He has to find a way to move forward, return the friend back home and discover the real reason for all those earthquakes. There are many adventures, new friends and it’s not only friends that are waiting for him on the way. He has to be curious, inventive, careful, and to help others, to reach his goal.

Love this game! The story is cute and the animation style is similar to the Samorost series, Chuchel, Woolly Boy, and Machination games. The puzzles aren't too difficult and the play through is pretty straightforward. I just wish the game was longer and had more content.

I enjoyed Samorost and Botanical. This game gave me similar enjoyment. The difficulty of the puzzles were not too hard and not too easy. But I had to think a bit to solve them. Overall a very enjoyable game.

Game is constantly glitching a solid blue screen or character and touchable object will stay blue can see to play passed first 5 minutes of game

A very cool adventure & puzzle game, but it has a glitch. After the casino part when the canman exchanges the 2 coins with the fish, the game goes blank. I uninstalled and then reinstalled it, and then played it till that part in one go, but it shuts down again. I even uninstalled all my other games, hoping to free up space but with no luck. As soon as the canman gets that fish, the game shuts down. It does not want to proceed to the next stage.

I want to love this game. Presentation wise this game knocks it out of the park. Gameplay is fun, art direction is charming, and its musical score helps deliver calming vibes to the player. Unfortunately those vibes are rather short-lived, due to the abhorrently unresponsive controls. Its uncertain whether this game has a compatibility issue with Galaxy S24+, but what is certain is that movement & item selection is made near impossible through my experience. A major flaw holding this gem back.

I paid for this game, installed it, uninstalled it, & reinstalled it 3 times! My phone has 32gb of internal storage PLUS it has a memory card, so I KNOW the game isn't too big or incompatible with my phone & there's nothing wrong with my phone. I've played 100s of games on phones from the Google Play Store. When I touch the game icon from my home screen, my screen goess black & a white box sits in the center of the screen with the word Boxville". No menu, or game ever comes on the screen at all
