Brain Worms: Brain Dump Notes

Some thoughts arrive at the worst possible moment: in the shower, on the bus, halfway through something else. A minute later they are gone. Brain Worms is a brain dump notebook for exactly those moments — a place to put your ideas and thoughts down before they disappear.

Write the thought, give it a category and an urgency, and let it go. It will be there when you have time for it.

CAPTURE IN SECONDS
Add an idea, a task, a reminder or a nagging thought with a title and a note. No folders to set up first, no forms to fill in. Start without an account and sign in later if you like.

SORT BY HOW MUCH IT BURNS
Four levels of urgency — very urgent, urgent, when you have time, not urgent — so the things that actually matter stand out from the things that merely feel loud. Filter your list by category or by urgency at any time.

YOUR OWN CATEGORIES
Group thoughts the way you think about them: work, home, a project, a person. Add new categories as you go.

TURN THINKING INTO PROGRESS
Open any brain worm and log what happened and what you thought about it. Events and thoughts stack up into a small history, so you can see an idea move instead of just sitting there. Mark it complete when it is done, or reopen it when it comes back. An event or a thought can also be saved on its own, without a brain worm.

EVENT AND THOUGHT TIMELINES
Two timelines show all your events and all your thoughts in date order, in one place. Tap one to see it in full and jump to the brain worm it belongs to.

PHOTOS, FILES AND VOICE NOTES
Attach photos, PDF, Word and Excel files and audio to an event or a thought, or record a voice note right in the app. Share pictures and documents straight from your gallery or file manager into Brain Worms and file them under a thought or an event.

PUT IT IN YOUR CALENDAR
Send any brain worm to your device calendar as a reminder, so it reaches you at the right moment.

SEARCH
Find any thought again by typing a few words.

BIG SCREENS TOO
On tablets and foldables the list and the details sit side by side.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your brain worms belong to your account and nobody else's. No ads and no selling of data. You can delete your account, and everything stored with it, from inside the app at any time.

FREE, WITH CLEAR LIMITS
A free account keeps five ideas active at a time — completed ones never count, so finishing something always makes room — with up to 100 events, 100 thoughts and 50 attached files. Your notes are never locked: you can always read, edit and complete what you have written.

BRAIN WORMS PREMIUM
Unlimited active ideas, events and thoughts · open your attachments, with no 50-file cap · voice notes turned into text as you speak · a Gallery and File Archive with every picture and document in date order · send a brain worm with all its events to any app · statistics on what you capture and finish · one-tap export of your whole archive as CSV and JSON. One week free, then monthly or yearly.
