Description by Avoir Technology (from Google Play)

A straightforward and easy to use tuner application to help you tune your musical instrument. Software written by musicians, for musicians.

The responsive dial changes instantly with any slight change in pitch, and also gives you a longer average reading.

The screen has a high contrast mode for easy viewing outdoors.

Use as a guitar tuner, a violin tuner, or for almost any musical instrument.

Free and fully functional, with the in-application option to purchase an unlock for advanced features. The Braw Chromatic Tuner uses the most advanced algorithms customized to give the most accurate, precise, and responsive tuning experience.

It has a focus on ease of use and technical quality. It it also written to be efficient, so you don't need and expensive phone or tablet to be able to run it. The efficiency also means it has relatively low battery consumption.

The tuner automatically detects which note you are playing, based on what is the loudest/closest to your devices microphone. The gauge will then clearly indicate how sharp or flat you are compared to the automatically calculated reference frequency for the note.

We genuinely welcome feedback, and in particular if you have any problems please don't hesitate to get in touch, either through the app, or via our website. If there is a feature you would like to see added, please let us know.

Very accurate, and the gauge is easy to read.

★★★★★ Boris Simeonov · Jan 9, 2018

BEST! Strings ring sharp when plucked. This averages the pitch beautifully.

★★★★★ Bre Me · Sep 23, 2016

Very helpful I am a beginner violinist and have been searching forever for a good free violin tuner. Thank you so much the makers of this app!!! I love it. It is very easy to use.

★★☆☆☆ Gerard Taylor · Oct 2, 2016

Flashing ads annoying The app looks promising, but I could not tolerate the flashing ads. Moreover, the engineering is poor: you must disable screen overlay that alone is not possible on my Samsung Galaxy S5.

★☆☆☆☆ Hrithik Sujil · Jul 29, 2016

Not working It is not working on my new Asus ZenFone.l don't like it ..........

★☆☆☆☆ A Google user · Mar 21, 2017

It's so boring I like ones that have a smiley face, and it gets bigger the longer you hold a note

★☆☆☆☆ Robert Langley · May 21, 2020

Used to be my tuner of choice, but it was ruined in the most recent update.
