★★★★★ I am completely heartbroken to see this app go.... This is the best breaking news app I have ever used, way faster than all the other alerts I have on my phone.

★★★★★ This was the best news app ever. Every part was useful, from the custom size widget you could put on one of your screens (I dedicated a whole window for the widget). Plus you could scroll that widget up and down and it would take you to that story or blurb when you clicked on it, plus the updates and earlier blurbs if you missed them. The snippets of news were both local and national, as well as international and global. Not just the big headlines but small ones too. For my type of work it was very useful from a global security stand point. Plus it was on multiple platforms mobile, desktop web and tablet. If nbc wanted to charge a dollar a month or even 5 I'd say it would be worth it. I'd drop my cbs subscription for it since it was just the best. All these other apps out here don't even come close. Not in intutiveness, inginuity, or usefullness. All focused mainly on the big stories which is great but if I wanted that, I get plenty of alerts from Twitter, Facebook news sites and email alerts too the point I don't care about the war between the dems and repubs. Just tell me about the traffic accident on 95 in the US, the latest bombing in Iran, the animals that got loose in Japan, or the fight for power in Burundi. My point is I miss this app. Sad nothing comes close, or that it's competitors aren't even trying to mimic it.

★★★★★ It's been seven months since this fantastic app was shut down. Every once in awhile I look it back up to see if somehow it's been restarted. It's pretty much an ex-girlfriend I can't get out of my head.

★★☆☆☆ This should be removed from app stores. They have shut down the app but still have it available to download. Waste of my time downloading.
