Description
Brew Timer is for brewers, professionals and amateurs alike, who need a better way to keep track of their brew during the brew day. The application allows the brewer to create individual entries for the timing of different brewing events like the addition of hops, spices, a wort chiller, etc. These events can also include a post-boil steeping time, allowing brewers to keep track of additional lengths of time after the boil ends. These events can be grouped together as a Brew Session and can be saved in a Recipe Profile that can then be loaded when needed for future use. Each Recipe Profile contains all the events needed for a complete brew session.
Brew Timer Features: - Create, save, load, and delete multiple Recipe Profiles. - Each Recipe Profile can contain events for all timed brewing processes. - Brew Timer can sound a user selected alarm and/or vibrate when an event needs your attention. - Events can be added, edited, or removed while the the timer is running in case a modification needs to be made on the fly. - Color-coding of individual event entry’s remaining time lets you quickly determine how soon an event will trigger. - Brew Timer can be paused and resumed at any time. - You can import your BeerXML recipe file and Brew Timer will pull out the needed information automatically. - Recipe Profiles can be exported as an XML to for backup purposes or to share with other brewers.
Brew Timer is also great for timing coffee roasting, baking or anything else you may need to keep track of multiple timing events.

This app has been a lifesaver Easy to use and fills exactly what I need. I'm brewing all grain ales and IPAs and this timer is perfect for reminding me to check mash temps and hop additions. I even use it to time-sharing computer time for my kids :)

This is a great app for brew day. I use it to time my mash, boil, and steep/whirlpool. I've set up about 8 saved routines. Save a ton of hassle over using regular timers.

Terrible. No mash timer, rest etc. No hop addition option within the boil timer. No recipe import option. Uninstalled quick

Deleted all my brew profiles and running timer during a brew. Luckily had a
secondary kitchen timer running so all was not lost.

Not reliable. Use this as a backup to beer smith timer, but it often fails. It will continue the count-down but not sound any notifications. Also, if I hit ghe back button it will often mess up the timer.
