Still working well on Android 10, LG V40, the built-in auto dimmer is terrible. Always off and makes it difficult to use the phone if it's too dark is bright where you are. Looks like this widget is right on the spot - solved the problem

I'd like to give 5 stars, but this app is so old that it doesn't work properly on Android 9 (the percentage just doesn't correspondent with the real system brightness). Any suggestions for an app that does exactly the same but is running on Android 9?

10% actually sets it to 9%, 25% sets it to 24%, 50% sets it to 49%. Disappointed, 1 star.

Untrustworthy, amateur developer When I use completely unrelated music player apps, Brightness Switcher starts running in the background, for no reason, every time I change tracks on a music player. Typical garbage from irresponsible / amateur developers.

Can't resize widget. It's nice to be able to customize the levels, but it's bad that you have to click the widget multiple times to get it to the level you want. It needs a mode that pops up a quick level chooser, it needs a slider bar, and it needs a toggle for auto mode.
