The order of birds for selection is strange. It could be by family or even alphabetical, but appears random. Many birds either don't have a song or there's a low limit on the number that will play. Birds mostly have more than 1 song and this is missing. For example a blackbird has a display or territorial song and an alarm song. They are completely different.

I didn't realise there were so few bird species in Britain. Perhaps the paid version has a lot more but there no way to find out..
