A variety of famous paintings by master artists into which some subtle differences have been added. Tricky. Very tricky. But have a go. You'll see just how addictive this game is.

Broken Brush is a work of, um... art. This is a dilettante's dream: the perfect excuse to get up close - REALLY close - to 85 of the world's most celebrated works of art, and not have to write essays about them afterward (or endure modern-day art gallery hassles like mobile phones and noise-leaking headphones). Digital image-editing software is enormously powerful, but happily has been used here with a light touch. Many of the changes in these 'spot the difference' puzzles are extremely subtle. It makes for a very enjoyable challenge. Although there are 100 paintings in this virtual exhibition, only the first 85 (only?!) are free; the last 15 are kept behind one of those thick plush velvet rope barriers so beloved of galleries and stately homes. You have to pay to see what's beyond it... Despite this, I still think this great app deserves 5 stars.
