This is probably the easiest camera I've ever set up. First I downloaded the Brook stone smart camera app that I found on the Google Play Store app. Literally just plugged it to an extension cord, Position it, where I wanted it in a window. I had to put Something dark behind it, so the reflection in the window didn't Distort picture displayed on my screen on my phone. Then I made sure that the phone and the camera were both connected to Wi-Fi. And that was it.

Terrible product, nothing but problems. I'm sorry for all of who wasted money on this device. And yes, my device is "up to date" your software just sucks and is going in the garbage right now. I see all the bad reviews and I have every problem every one else is having. That should tell you everything you need to know. Brook stone, you need to work on this or stop scamming people out of their money. I refuse to give you any further information so just don't even respond. Don't waste your time.

I bought the camera plug in, did not connect at all, waste of time trying to set it up, why isn't it easy as other apps and cameras, amazon camera r easier to set up

When I got my camera it was working great. But now it's acting up and have itself facing the wall. Brook stone need to do better with the device.
