(UPDATE 2026-09) 5⭐ The developing team listen to the feedback and implemented a feature to allow manual duplication of entries; this is one of the most useful QOL updates one can ask. Hopefully more features keep coming — Original review (4 ⭐) Really good features, like scheduling recurring expenses, budgeting, adding and editing categories and tags. I wish we could manually duplicate entries, almost like a template for a new entry, so you don't have to do everything from scratch all the time.

I’ve supported Spender for years with a lifetime subscription, but recent releases need better quality control. The latest update introduced severe lag when typing in transaction amounts during new entries, making basic tracking frustrating. Please test performance more thoroughly before pushing updates live. I've been using this app for over 5 years. It always had some bugs here n there n the annoying ad to buy premium, but I looked past over that until this last update. The UI is completely different which I don't mind, but the app has become unusable. It's laggy and extremely slow. I used to log my expenses in seconds now it takes over 5 minutes because when I click the add button it shows nothing I have to keep clicking or closing n opening the app. Then to show categories it takes forever, unusable
