FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What types of flooring does BuildMeasure support?
LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, carpet, and other floor finishes. The cut calculator handles zero-gap plank installs and grouted tile runs.

Can I measure irregular rooms?
Yes. Use the custom shape tool to sketch L-shapes, alcoves, and angled walls, then measure each wall with guided prompts.

Does BuildMeasure work without internet?
Yes. Projects, rooms, cut lists, materials, and crew data are stored on your device. Address search needs a connection; everything else works offline.

Does it calculate waste?
Yes. Set a waste percentage (default 10%) and see total material area including waste on every project.

Can I track labor costs?
Yes. Add crew members with hourly wages, assign them to projects, and log hours overall or by room.
