Melalui keterampilan inkuiri yang menekankan penyelidikan dan penemuan, peserta didik peserta didik diharapkan dapat melakukan secara mandiri dan kolaborasi dalam memahami berbagai fenomena sosial dan menemukan solusi secara aktif. Buku Siswa Kelas VIII ini dilengkapi dengan konsep ilmu-ilmu sosial, kasus dan fenomena sosial, aktivitas menemukan dan memecahkan masalah sosial, proyek kreatif, refleksi pembelajaran, dan latihan pengembangan kompetensi.
