Bullet Hell Monday Finale is a bullet hell shooter game that’s great fun for beginners too. Avoid the bullets and shoot enemies. Upgrade your craft and aim to clear the Chapter Mode.
■ Chapter Mode Various missions await you in each stage -- from simple to challenging ones. Clearing missions like “Defeat 30 enemies!” unlocks a boss stage. Defeat the boss to proceed to the next chapter.
■ Strengthen your craft There are many level up options to strengthen your craft: shot power, shot speed, bomb duration, and more. Upgrade your craft and blast through the stages.
■ Great for beginners Stages start off easy and gradually get more and more intense. You have no obligation to clear the difficult missions. If you get stuck, try your hand at another mission.
■ Simple controls Use swipe gestures to move and attack, and tap with your other hand to launch bombs. These are the only skills available to you when you first start.
As you progress through the game, you will gradually unlock new abilities.
■ Easy mode In Chapter Mode, you select the difficulty before starting a stage. Selecting Easy makes enemy attacks less intense and makes it easier to beat the stage. If you get stuck on a stage, try selecting Easy.

This is absolutely amazing in every way (music, challenge, learning curve, upgrade system, etc.) but one: it's very hard to get any meaningful amounts of AP after chapter 2, even when you watch every ad presented. And I'm only focusing on upgrading one ship. I really liked how much you got in the original BHM when playing the endless modes, but even after beating the first boss in endless 1, I only got 3 AP for my efforts. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Would be four, but they put enemies behind you where u can't shoot and stupid indestructible blocks in the way of your shots I wander wth dev was thinking when they made something like this

Very, very basic once you've tried the other schmup games. Kept waiting for it to open up and feel like a complete game instead of a programming classes first trial project. I'll give it an extra star cause the colors...are okay.I guess? No clue what these other people are gushing over, or this is the only type of space shooter game they've ever played and have no room to compare.

My biggest gripe with this game is that it doesn't record/display the statistics properly!!! For such games it is an important, and a basic thing. For example, I would've finished a level at 95% destruction. When I come later with upgrades or a different ship, and finish it at 100%, the stat screen is not updated at all!! It keeps showing my previous stat. If the dev can fix this then I will update my score. I've even mailed them about this issue to no avail.
