I really think Bun pro might be one of the best resources for learning Japanese. It has everything! Grammar with deep explanations, vocabulary with examples that you can actually listen to, reading with the audio, mock exams... and you can actually personalize everything! This is the best way to learn grammar, and I've moved all my vocabulary flashcards to this app as well, because it's so useful to see and hear!!! The words in context sentences, spoken by real people and not TTS.

The "kana go" blocks a third of my screen and there is no option to make it go away. Super whack, especially since there is no segmentation in this endless text of theirs. It's basically: here is a table of Hiragana, learn it. Then you scroll down 5 cm, and they hit you with: "Now that you learned all Hiragana.". It's great that it's free but the UI is bad and the font is not as easily or pleasant to read as competitors.

If you like the Anika style of learning it's the right app. I can not deal with those upside down way of learning. I was hoping this app had options to improve but with programmatic control its even harder to learn. I want to learn in the quiz part. The learn part is a nice to have if I am already proficient. It's absolutely meaningless if you want to memorize the term.

This app is good, but has some major flaws. Lessons can become repetitive, It's easy to memorize the sentences or 'cards' rather than actual grammar points. Additionally, there was a long stretch where I had been able to start a subscription, but not end it. Honestly, it did help me to get started in the language, but in the long run it just didn't work out for me. My biggest issue is that the app isn't meant as a primary resource, but takes as much time as one.

Terrible ux, srs must be a free quality of life feature or excluded from the app name, some buttons are either don't work or slow as hell
