Burgernet wordt ingezet bij onder andere diefstal of inbraak, doorrijden na een aanrijding, beroving, en vermiste personen. Via de Burgernet-app ontvangt u een actiebericht wanneer zoiets gebeurt in je omgeving. Iets gezien? Dan wordt je informatie via de app rechtstreeks aan de politie verstrekt.

Via de Burgernetapp ontvang je ook AMBER Alerts wanneer een vermist kind in levensgevaar is. U herkent een AMBER Alert aan de oranje kleur en de titel AMBER Alert.

Does not work. Get notifications from areas far away. Crashes and immediately closes the app if opened through a notification. Manually loading messages by selecting an area fails connection.

Keeps asking for location information, it is far more privacy invasive as the SMS solution they used to support. Also, it keeps saying my address doenst exist. I will be a good citizen some other way, but I am opting out of this program.

Please enable map interaction for investigation tip requests. Otherwise, we don't know where the crime took place, we don't know all street in our city by name nor by zoomed in map section, we need to be able to click the map and zoom out for orientation. We are not all taxi drivers ;)
