★★★★★ For the past several weeks (months?), none of the apps which attempt to retrieve real-time arrival data has been working for me, except when I am at home connected to Wi-Fi. (Previously, I could have Wi-Fi turned off but the apps worked.) At first, I thought this was a problem with my phone, but I have a new phone now and the same situation. I called my cell phone service provider and the rep claimed there has been no network change which would account for this relatively recent development. I hope this issue is resolved some day, but in the meantime, the Honolulu Thebes Transit app works for me where the others don't. I understand that this doesn't provide real-time data, but it's much, much better than the other apps which no longer work for me (for now). And the fact that it doesn't attempt to download real-time data, and doesn't require an Internet connection to track bus schedules, may be precisely why it works for me. After having been without a usable bus app all these weeks, I can honestly say, "I love this app." But this is just me, under my present circumstances. I don't want to switch cell phone providers just yet. A good backup app for others when HEA isn't working.
