Description
C. Kane is a short form turn-based RPG that streamlines the genre to its basics; fighting monsters, talking to people, playing dress up. Dungeons are minimalist, graphics are monochrome and quasi 8bit. Random battles are no more, bosses are numerous. A Shark guides the way. An original hip hop soundtrack provides the beats.
On his 18th birthday, a young Media Mogul begins a quest to save the world. The Earth is in ruins and the Dark Wizard Gettys rules from high atop the Dark Tower in the east.
With his father's sage advice safely in his mind, Charles recruits a band of brave warriors to cleanse the world of the Four Deadly Dungeon Masters.
Along the way, he may learn the truth about what destroyed this once beautiful world.

World full of monsters Great battles, no grinding, and a funny story mixed with satire. Add some excellent music, and you are looking at a rad 2-3 hours or more of the Citizen Kane of gaming. Get it.

Like passing gas on LSD. Super Walrus Games' games are some of my favorite mobile escapes into surreality. A lot of it is bizarre for the sake of being bizarre, which I sometimes consider a virtue in a jester's disguise, but there is also soulful poetry in surprising moments. Like getting a fortune from a cookie and being unexpectedly shook from it. Also, as a big Twin Peaks nerd, there is no way for me not to appreciate the many references in this and their other games.

This game is part of a rare group of jrpg, overhead view sort of games that are true to the genre, taking it seriously- (not leaning on novelty too much), while also having a Unique setting and atmosphere. It's much like Earthbound in that way. Also, the soundtrack is sick!
