★★★★★ Check-A-Ticket works fine. The error is typically because the phone is not pointing at the actual barcode (suggestion for CA Lottery: improve the error message!). For scratchers, the barcode is *hidden* and you need to scratch the *front* of the ticket to reveal it. Search for "Where do I find the unique barcode for Check-A-Ticket on Lottery tickets?" to find some photos.
