Cais das Flores

Cais das Flores is the official app that promotes local commerce on Flores Island, in the Azores. Part of the Digital Commercial Districts initiative, this app aims to enhance the island's establishments, strengthen the connection between merchants and consumers, and contribute to the economic and social development of this unique territory.
With Cais das Flores, residents and visitors can discover everything that local commerce has to offer. Through a simple, practical, and intuitive experience, it is possible to access information about shops, cafes, restaurants, services, and local businesses — with useful data such as location, contacts, opening hours, products, and promotions.
The application invites you to experience the daily life of the island in a close and authentic way. Exploring the traditional commerce of Flores Island is also about discovering the cultural identity of its people, the local know-how, and the hospitality that marks this Azorean region. For visitors, Cais das Flores serves as a useful guide to find regional products, plan visits, and follow events that energize life on the island.
For merchants, this app represents a gateway to the digital world. Through Cais das Flores, local businesses can promote their products and services, attract new customers, participate in campaigns, and strengthen their presence in the community. Access is free and includes tools designed to facilitate the modernization of small businesses, respecting their pace and identity.
This project is part of the national Digital Commercial Districts program, which aims to accelerate the digitalization of urban centers and commercial areas, especially in regions with challenges of geographical isolation, as is the case of Ilha das Flores. By adopting technological solutions tailored to the local reality, the goal is to create more resilient, connected, and sustainable communities.
Whether you are a resident, visitor, or business owner, Cais das Flores is the ideal tool to support what is local, rediscover traditional commerce, and actively participate in the economic and cultural development of the island. With this application, Ilha das Flores gains a new energy, closer, more digital, and more valued.
