CallBye

Have more control over who can make your phone ring.

CallBye is a local call firewall for Android. You choose which groups can call normally: your contacts, favorites, and authorized numbers. Calls from numbers outside the rules can be blocked, rejected, silenced, or allowed depending on your settings and the features available on your device.

Key features:

• Selection of contacts, favorites, and authorized numbers
• Blocked numbers list
• Normal, Work, Sleep, Focus, and Family modes
• Rules by days of the week and times, including overnight periods
• Temporary pass to allow unknown calls
• Local history of decisions requested from Android
• Interface in Portuguese, English, and Spanish
• Primarily offline operation
• No access needed to call logs, SMS, or location

On-device privacy

Your address book is only checked locally to identify contacts and favorites. Contacts are not copied to CallBye's database or sent to external servers. Your history and rules stay on your device.

How it works

To filter calls, CallBye must be set as the default caller ID and spam app in Android settings. Access to contacts is required to recognize contacts and favorites. Without this permission, some features are limited and the app will show a partial protection status.

Decisions are applied according to the capabilities of Android and the device manufacturer. The history shows that a response was requested from the system, without claiming a confirmation that Android itself does not provide.

Compatible with Android 10 or higher.
