How it works

2. Review the estimate and adjust ingredients and portions.
3. Save it, and the calorie tracker shows how many calories you have left today.

Photograph a meal or pick one from your gallery. You get calories, protein, carbs and fat, plus fiber, sugar and sodium for each meal, and you can edit every ingredient before saving. It also estimates home-cooked and local dishes, like a homemade stew, curry or burrito.

• Label scan, text and voice
Scan a nutrition label, type a quick description of your meal, or log by voice in English.

• Food database and food diary
Search the food database or enter food manually. Recent foods and saved meals keep your food diary up to date in seconds.

• Macro tracker
Daily rings show calories, protein, carbs and fat against your targets, so the calorie tracker tells you what is left for today at a glance.

• Personal plan and calorie deficit
Your daily target is based on your age, height, weight, activity and goal: lose weight, maintain or gain. Unused calories can roll over to the next day, and exercise calories count too.
