If you bring this the shop I worked at, you'll get a smack in the head and some wise words. This is absolutely stupid, what you're telling me is that if your phone is out of power you're completely useless? And do you know how bad it looks for your employer when you stand my the milling machine checking your phone?

It is a good start, but it seems to have been developed by someone without practical experience. For example ...the m codes are not the same from one type of control to another as in a fanuc vs okuma....even different fanuc controls have different codes sometimes. Another thing on the speed and feed calculations...what kind of material are you running with what brand/grade of inserts? Those both affect it.
