Comments on Camera Locker for Android

★★★★☆ Manolo · May 14, 2026

I have tried many camera blocker apps with Android Version 5 (Samsung's One UI Version 8), but with all of them very frequently there is a delay of a few seconds before the protection kicks in, leaving the camera unprotected during that brief moment -especially whenever other apps like WhatsApp or Telegram are not closed (remain in recent apps). The same happens with Camera Locker. I hope the developers can look into how to address this issue.

★★★★☆ Srđan Morača · Feb 20, 2024

I was searching for an app to replace Android, which does not work on android 14. This app works, though sometimes it takes time to detect camera use, so one can snap a picture or two. Sometimes the front camera is falsely detected. Any chance to fix it? What about adding a quick setting instant access icon?

★★★★★ Natasha Ablogin · Sep 5, 2021

This app is perfect, I know because I tried 15 different ones and none were good after the Android 11 update.

If I cannot remember the password I cannot even use my camera pls do not install

★☆☆☆☆ Penzance · Nov 3, 2023

When active canera still takes pictures, so app doesn't work.

★☆☆☆☆ Neeligaru Sandeep · Jun 15, 2023

If camer is locked Then why face unlock is working 😁

★★☆☆☆ Avi Fleischer · Feb 24, 2022

Way too many ads. Needs the ability to automatically disable the camera blocking for a custom amount of time for a specific app when opening it.
