Camera & Microphone Blocker is a free application that blocks both internal and external attempts to open your device’s camera and/or microphone. ShieldApps’ Camera and Microphone Blocker provides a user-friendly solution, designed to easily block and protect your phone from unwanted privacy intrusion and abuse. The simple interface is easy to use and allows the user to choose settings. Android devices’ users can block either-or camera and microphone. The home screen button will display the current status, either Blocked or Unblocked.
While the Camera & Microphone Blocker is on, when a user hits the camera button, he or she will get a message that Camera is disabled by a security policy. A similar message is received when a user tries to turn on the voice recorder. However, ordinary phone call conversations will not be affected

It's nice just remember to block and unblock all together or the app will mess some functionality up. Ghost background would be nice stop 3 party tracking, maybe. All in all it works great. Update-the app is now affecting my apps microphone and camera permissions, even when it's unblocked. I really like the app if only it would have three problems or bugs that need to be fixed. One/2 When it's turned on it affects the volume now as well as people hearing you on a call. When it's on or off.

Wow, this app started acting very suspiciously. It worked fine for a while. I didn't use it for some time as I used Sensor Off toggle in Dev Opts, but that blocked everything. Got back to this app, it stert lagging my phone a lot, then upon camera "block", minutes later it would pop up a graphic on mid-screen claiming Cam is blocked, but u like before when it worked, I tried the camera app and it keeps working! Before it would time out or just be blank. It's broken now, plus acting suspiciously.

What is wrong with this app? Why is it suddenly not blocking camera & microphone? Why does it want access to all other apps now? I've been using this for so long and never had an issue until now.
