Camera Test & Mic: DeviceGPT

🔍 WiFi speed test, camera test, mic test, battery health, AI phone diagnostics — one tap on Android. DeviceGPT scans your device and explains the result in plain English. No root.

After every scan, tap Ask AI to get instant fixes via ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, You.com, or Replika. Nine AI platforms. Your scan stays on-device unless you share it.

🩺 App Doctor — "WiFi Connected But No Internet"
Connected to Wi-Fi but nothing loads? App Doctor finds out why:
• Type any website and DeviceGPT tests it 4 times — a site that fails only sometimes cannot hide behind one lucky check
• Tests through both the normal connection and the in-app browser, so you see when Android System WebView is the real problem and Chrome is fine
• Shows your DNS servers, whether Private DNS or a VPN is active, and whether the network is holding you at a sign-in wall (captive portal)
• Reports pass count and average latency, not a single green tick

🚀 WiFi & Network Speed Test
• WiFi speed test — download, upload, ping, jitter
• Network speed test for cellular + Wi-Fi

🔋 AI Battery Health — What Android Doesn't Show
• Battery health status, temperature, degradation signals
• Live device power draw in watts (real physics: P = V × I)
• Component breakdown: display, cellular, RAM, Wi-Fi
• App screen time — Android does not report per-app battery use, so this ranks screen time, not battery
• Charging behavior, cycle tracking, fast vs slow charge comparison
• Export battery data to CSV or Ask AI for explanation

🎤 Mic Test, Camera Test, Screen Test
• Mic test / microphone test — measures the room noise floor, your voice level, and plays the recording straight back so you hear what callers hear. The recording never leaves your phone
• Camera test — camera not working? Front and rear check, focus, colour cast
• Screen test — dead pixel test and stuck pixel test with 9 full-screen colours plus a grid for scratches. Your phone cannot detect its own dead pixels, so you look and DeviceGPT records your answer — never a guessed score
• Phone hardware test: touch screen test, speaker test, GPS test, accelerometer
• FPS monitoring and frame drop detection (Choreographer API)

🛡️ Zero Trust Dashboard — Phone Security Audit
A three-section audit scoring your device 0–100:
• App Privacy Risk (35%): keyboards and accessibility services that can read your screen or keystrokes, apps reading your advertising ID, apps holding mic/camera/SMS, live mic use, sideloaded apps
• Network Trust (35%): DNS manipulation, SSL hijack (MITM), transparent proxy, deep packet inspection, ISP tracking, private DNS
• Device Integrity (30%): root status, bootloader, sideloading, developer mode, overlay permissions, notification listeners

🔌 AI Bridge — Let Claude or Cursor Read Your Phone
Pair a desktop AI client over your local network with a PIN or QR code. It reads live device data through MCP — no cloud, no account.

🤖 AI Explains Your Phone in Plain English
"Battery is overheating — close background apps."
"Wi-Fi jitter may affect gaming — restart router."

📱 Phone Health Check — One Scan
• Health score across battery, storage, RAM, temperature, sensors, plus full device info

📊 Phone Condition Check & Resale Report
Generate a certified phone report for resale, support tickets, or proof of condition. Cryptographically signed (ECDSA P-256, Android KeyStore) with tamper detection and a shareable verification code.

🏆 Leaderboard & Achievements
• 10 global categories: battery, speed, thermal, display, camera, CPU

🚀 Also Includes
• Lock screen widget (Android 13+): health score, battery, temperature
• 15+ languages
• Works offline for most scans (Ask AI needs network)
• No signup. No root.

💎 DeviceGPT Premium (in-app purchase): removes ads and supports ongoing development.

📥 Download DeviceGPT — the AI phone diagnostics, WiFi speed test, camera test, and battery health app for Android. Tap install and run your first scan in 30 seconds.

Recent changes:
Security checks rebuilt. DeviceGPT now shows which keyboards and accessibility services can read your screen or keystrokes, which apps can read your advertising ID, and which apps came from outside an app store — real checks, not a fixed list of app names.

Mic test: one tap of Deny no longer blocks the test, and granting it in Settings is picked up right away.

Website testing now spaces its 4 attempts, so a fault that comes and goes cannot hide.

Faster cold start.
