By Evolvo Softs, from Google Play“Local IP camera viewer with ONVIF discovery, RTSP walls, and full screen”
Description by Evolvo Softs Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
Use Camera Wall at home, in a workshop, office, reception area, stockroom, garage, or another small site where the cameras and viewing device share the same local network. The responsive interface supports touch on phones and tablets and large, visible focus states for a TV remote. It works well on a dedicated display when you want a calm multi-camera viewer and local camera wall that keeps the important live views together.
Set up cameras in the way that matches your equipment. Use ONVIF discovery to find compatible devices on the local network, select a bundled setup preset, or paste a known RTSP, RTMP, HTTP, or HTTPS stream URL. Enter credentials when the camera requires them and test the connection before saving the first camera. ONVIF discovery is a convenience, not a compatibility guarantee, so manual stream setup remains available when multicast discovery is blocked by the router or camera.
Build the wall around the number of streams and the screen in front of you. Choose automatic layout or fixed 1 × 1, 2 × 2, 3 × 3, 4 × 4, and 1 + 5 arrangements. Reorder saved cameras so the most useful views appear first, duplicate an entry when similar stream settings save time, and open any tile in a focused full-screen view. Camera Wall can cycle through saved cameras full screen for an unattended display.
Tune playback for each device and network. When a camera supplies separate URLs, use its lower-resolution substream in the multi-camera wall and the main stream in full screen. Choose RTSP over TCP when supported, adjust network buffer time, enable or disable hardware decoding, and mute audio globally. Interrupted or stalled streams retry automatically while the network remains available, although recovery time and playback capacity depend on the camera, codec, device, and connection.
Configure dedicated-display behavior from Settings. Keep the screen on while the wall is visible, dim the interface when idle, request that Camera Wall start after device boot, select a wall layout, and choose full-screen cycling. Newer Android and TV systems can block apps from opening themselves after startup, so start on boot is a request rather than a guarantee.
Manage up to 64 saved camera entries and move a setup between devices with JSON export and import. Camera names, local addresses, usernames, passwords, and preferences are stored on the device. Exported camera JSON includes credentials; treat it as sensitive, keep it private, and import it only on a device you trust.
Camera Wall is designed for local viewing. No account or remote cloud-viewing service is required for its core camera-wall flow, but the viewing device must be able to reach each configured camera on the same local network. The app deliberately accepts common local-camera protocols, including cleartext RTSP or HTTP when that is what a camera provides, so do not assume the connection is encrypted.
Before installing, confirm that your cameras expose compatible streams and that the phone, tablet, or TV has enough decoder capacity for the number and resolution of feeds you plan to show. Camera Wall does not record video, provide playback history, offer remote access away from the local network, send motion alerts or notifications, control PTZ, or replace an alarm, DVR, or NVR. It is a focused ONVIF camera monitor and RTSP viewer for live local streams.
